hello baby,

mommy's now in her 36th week of pregnancy. according to the books, by next week you'll be considered full term, and can be born anytime. wow! it seems like only yesterday mommy peed on a stick and witnessed the two red lines appear on it. and now 36 weeks later, (and mommy's looking more and more like a whale each day), we're finally gonna meet each other in a matter of days!

had been entertaining thoughts of changing my mobile plan from prepaid to postpaid for quite some time now.

yesterday, i went to celcom to ask about the available plans. spoke to a very nice (and patient too!) lady who explained about the various plans that celcom has. friends suggested for me to change to digi or maxis.... but i've been a celcom user since duuuuuuuuullluuuuuuu lagi. you can say that i'm loyal la kan. nah kan dear, untung ko dapat sia kan abis sia loyal kama hahhahahhaha..... eh tapi butul bah :)

brought home some brochures home with me. wanted to fikir2 dulu. sampai rumah, i baca2 the brochures. buka website celcom. made lots of calculations. thought about the pros and cons. ces.. macam mo buat keputusan berperang pula kan padahal pasal mo tukar prepaid pigi postpaid saja pun!

today woke up with a decision.

yes, am changing to postpaid. still using the same number tho'.

so.... that's all i guess.

hubby boo went back to tinanduk last monday, 05.05.08.

haven't spoken to him since. still no phone lines. no internet.

next perjumpaan will be during the school hols. lama lagi...... shites!

now i appreciate my parents more (not that i didn't appreciate them before.. but more la)..... dulu my mom and dad pun berjauhan juga, satu di lahad datu/sandakan, satu di penampang. di ladang no sekolah menengah, so they decided for us to pindah sekolah balik penampang... masa tu pun susah mo telefon hari-hari sebab my dad kerja di ladang, ada phone atur ja, itupun at the only kedai runcit di ladang tu.... cinta punya pasal sama family, my dad would drive all the way dari tmpt dia kerja to penampang every friday, and balik kerja petang sunday. masa tu jalan bidaa, macam naik kerbau juga gedebuk gedebak dalam kereta...

thanks mom and dad! susah bah pula kan macam ni!

looking at the bright side, this situation makes me appreciate my hubby more. like any young newly weds, we are constantly tested with things that may seem mundane to some, but would appear to be so huge to us. things like paying the bills. holidays. the car. colour of car to buy. politics. see, nonsensical things, really. all the same, kadang-kadang macam mo bagaduh yang tia mo becakap sampai bila-bila bah punya feeling (alright, i exaggerated there for a bit, but you know what i mean la kan). then he goes and does something like this. surprises the hell out of me. and i'm reminded once again why i married this man.

butul juga apa kawan sia bilang dulu: "marriage is hard work. but it's worth all the sweat and pain".

i hate the gym.

i reaaalllllyyyy hate the gym.

gym vs television shows? uh huh, like there's a contest or something.

wish i don't ever need to see the gym again.

but i have too.

none of my clothes can fit anymore - well, technically they can, but it's like forcing pieces of meat into this teeny plastic bag. yup, all bulgy in places they shouldn't. besides, i'm concerned about my health too, you know.

crap.

i've had an on-off relatinship with the gym for the past two year. the longest 'on' period that i've had with the gym was back in january to early february this year. for 4 weeks i went there every single day. so damn proud of myself you know! baju fitted a lil' bit better, less lemaks bulging out of my pants.

pas tu balik kampung for two weeks, had makan sessions every day in kampung... and boommmmm! a break-up with the gym.

and somewhere i could hear the lemaks shout hurray hurrayyyyyy.

after one too many mornings of, well, let's just say mishaps time cari-cari baju, i decided that perhaps it is time to rekindle my romance with the good ol' gym.

so far so good.

cik wan sent me this sms last night (sorry dahling, didn't balas your sms, i pengsan!):

waktu ni semalam aku masih bersamamu

tapi kini aku kesorangan berak dalam jamban

kenapa la ko balik cepat sangat

i laughed when i read her sms... 'cause when i called her earlier, she really was in the jamban - hahaha, i knowla, could hear the echo! but in truth, i really do miss her, and i kept on thinking i should have stayed longer in kl. pa buli buat la babe, tia sukup suti bah...

cik wan has been one of my closest friends since two years ago when she first joined the company i worked at. yeah, we knew each other not that long ago. but our gedikness and approach to things and our love for food cemented our friendship. she has now left the company, but i'm glad to say that her friendship refused to leave with her. dahling, hope everything will work out real soon. don't despair, your friends are here with you. kalau ada urang jahat, ko kasitau ja kami, nanti kami pukul tu urang!

i had a great time meeting up with her, and boboi, and ina. lots of reminiscing, mostly old gossips, but hey, it was great fun. and boboi had this knack of delivering funny one-liners that just literally caused me to nearly kentut incessantly while laughing out loud like a mad hyena. i said nearly, ok..... i miss them already.

i also managed to catch up with my ex-housemate, mr laps and his lovely fiancee, rita, and her fiancee's sis, winiti. kenapa bah urang sebelah mija kita tu balik2 jeling2 kita tu? bising butul ka kita hari tu? hahhahahhahahha...... lots of stories shared, old and new. wished gaps and paitee and of course the rest of the gang could be there with us kan. sumbung bah durang tu kan.... could i request for the "surprise birthday song" to be sung on my birthday this year?

next trip in two months' time. can't wait to see you guys again.

am flying off to kl in the morning.

have mixed feelings about this trip. i usually feel ecstatic everytime sia tau ada meeting yang sia akan attend di kl.... bah urang bilang menyelam sambil minum air.... ambil can la jumpa kawan2 juga...

but right now, i'm just exhausted. haven't had enough sleep for the past week. can't sleep. even forcing my eyes close also didn't bring the results that i expected. read before i sleep? nope, bad idea. unlike some people, i like reading. nanti kalau sia suda start membaca, tia buli stop pula....

i need to sleep. for 24 hours straight. buli kaitu?

last time i met your mommy, she looked very happy and rosy cheeked and ever so beautiful. i think it was because you were in her tummy. your daddy, well, he couldn't take his eyes off your mommy. fitting really, as your mommy was beautiful (and still is!) and glowing with happiness. they couldn't wait for you to arrive!
